Inspection Class by Property

Inspection Class by Property allows a user to import existing inspection classes from a property. For additional information about inspection classes see Inspection Classes and Types.

To associate an area type to a property:

  1. Open the Administration Menu page.

  2. Under the INSPECTION ADMIN heading, click Inspection Class by Property.

  3. Click the Select Property button to locate and select a property.

Once a property is selected, all associated inspection classes appear in the yellow pane.

  4. In the Inspection Class field, select the inspection class you want to add.

  5. Click ADD.

Instead of selecting inspection classes individually to add to a property, you can click the Import All Inspection Classes link to import all inspection classes in the system to the selected property.

  6. Once an inspection class has been added to the property, the following values can be set to make the inspection class more specific to the property:

    • Benchmark – percentage (0-100) used to on the inspection dashboard to graphically show the number of inspections scoring above or below this benchmark
    • Threshold – percentage score (0-100) below which a corrective work request can automatically be generated; for example, if the threshold is set to 75, any inspection receiving a score less than 75% will have a corrective work request automatically generated
    • Type – the default type of work request created when auto-generating a request based inspection failure
    • Subtype – the default subType of work request created when auto-generating a request based inspection failure
    • Send Notification – Yes to send a notification to the person who will complete any generated corrective work request.
  7. Click UPDATE.
